Independent Cloud Expertise for a Sovereign, Open Future
SOUVERA helps organizations design and operate sovereign, open-source–based cloud platforms that give them full control over their infrastructure, without dependency on proprietary vendors.
Founded in 2025 by Ahmad Alzoubi, an experienced Sovereign Cloud and Open Infrastructure Architect, SOUVERA brings deep technical and operational expertise from leading global cloud environments, including Amazon Web Services (AWS).
We work with public and private organizations to modernize infrastructure, improve reliability, and build trust in technology through openness and transparency.

About the Founders
Our founders have, in total, more than five decades of experience in IT infrastructure, software development, Cybersecurity, cloud and solutions architecture, and operations across telecom, government, public sector, and hyperscale environments.
Before founding SOUVERA, they worked at Amazon Web Services, Saudi Telecom Company, Orange Telecom, Yarmouk University and government entities in the Middle East. Those experiences shaped their approach to building resilient, transparent systems that balance technical excellence with operational reality.
Founders now apply those expertise to help organizations and teams:
Transition from legacy or VMware environments to open, scalable infrastructure using OpenStack, Kubernetes, KVM, and Ceph.
Build automation, observability, and reliability frameworks that support sustainable operations.
Develop skills and self-sufficiency through hands-on training and mentorship in open cloud technologies.
Our team has plenty of certificates from market leader vendors like: AWS, Oracle, Red Hat, The Linux Foundation, Microsoft, Cisco and others — combining practical, vendor-level insight with an open-source mindset.
